The Lauritas’ company, Signature Apparel is a bottomless pit of legal headaches for the Laurita Family.
The Bankruptcy Court appointed a Trustee (Responsible Party) to determine, among other things, where the funds had been expended. As a result, the Responsible Party filed in excess of 20 lawsuits against various entities and people who allegedly improperly received funds from Signature Apparel. The lawsuits were filed because the Responsible Party had a good faith belief that Signature Apparel executives improperly paid entities and people to “bleed” Signature’s assets and thus deprive creditors of their rightful entitlement to be paid. One of the lawsuits was filed against the Laurita family members – Christopher & Jacqueline Laurita, Joseph & Adelene Laurita and Anthony Laurita demanding the return of $7.9 Million dollars
The following is a breakdown of each of the lawsuits/Adversary Proceedings filed by the Responsible Party on behalf of Signature Apparel and it’s Creditors:
1. Against Roc Fashions, LLC with demand for $ 2.8 Million Dollars.
2. Against Artful Holdings with demand for $400 Thousand Dollars
3. Against Daihwa (Asia) Ltd with demand for $3 Million Dollars
4. Against Hurley International with demand for $2 Million Dollars
5. Against American Express with demand for $3 Million Dollars

It’s amazing the sociopaths and narcissists that feel they deserve more than they work for. Also to see that their self worth is tied up in possessions. Very sad.

Yes they are personally responsible for the 7.9 million, but they are also responsible for the rest and this is why. You see those companies where paid for goods and services with money they shouldn’t have been given from the defendants. So what they are doing is going after the companies too and when they get caught up into it the companies will sue the Lauritas for the services rendered that they had to give back the money.
Like American Express, most of those bills may be personal expenses and such and shouldn’t have been paid with company money. So now American Express will have to sue Laurita’s for the money.
Their 7.9 million is the tip of this iceberg! It will take time for this and those who are also waiting to have their day in court.
This would be much more interesting to watch Jac and Chris dealing with all of these court cases that watching her video chat with her daughter.
Come on Bravo show the REALITY of all your housewives. You had no problem showing the down side of Teresa’s life.

Yes it was, it was a blind item that one of the househusbands cards keep getting rejected around town. Also it said that the family was in so much financial problems that they where posing.

Holy shit and Jac had the audacity to tweet all about how Teresa and Joe were crooked! Even the Guidice filings didn’t add up to this much debt, they maxed out at owing something like $11 million. That is peanuts compared to this, how the heck did they blow through this much cash in no time at all. And if a lot of it want to Blk and the lazy Manzo bums, then it makes Jac’s tossing her daughter out on the street even worse.

what is the disposition of any of these suits. they may all have merit and/or some may not. how the case was decided is what counts in the end, so the disposition is important.

What most people don’t understand is that Teresa and Juicy’s bankruptcy was mostly business. Most of the money owed was for buildings and homes that they owned and rented out. Only a small amount was personal besides their present home and the shore house. Since they withdrew their case some of the rental properties were lost to the banks and some were sold.
Caroline was right, they are thick as thieves!! Most truthful thing to come out of any of their mouths!! Frauds! Andy must love working w frauds, he seems to find most of the frauds!

I don’t necessarily wish Jac and her family a bad outcome. I just wish that Jac would realize that she should not have attacked Teresa and Joe Giudice’s personal bankruptcy situation – you know – throwing stones, pot meet kettle, and all that.
If Jac could see the meanness of her ways and change for the better, I could possibly forgive her. But if she continues going loco and viciously attacking T and her family, then she will forever be in my doghouse.

Anthony and his son are the worst. They started some business Rebound that I heard stole everything from another company. They live in Chris’s house in Mahwah and tell everyone its theirs. The whole Rebound thing is a scam. A shame Anthony jr is involved.
